New Kid

Went to Quiapo, Manila, yesterday to get the new Pentax Z-10 cleaned. It was handed down to me by Mr and Mrs Mambu, out of surprise/fascination/amusement of my analogue camera hobby. Not that I'm all that good (yet, hehe), but I've been having fun experimenting with the good old Yashica FX-3 2000. So yes, they handed over their Pentax Z-10, all these times kept at the very back of their closet, unused for approximately 9 years now. Closets can be such a treasure box sometimes.

Despite being a part-time jobless and having all the time in the world to make music, watch crappy TV shows, explore and download good music, read, talk on the phone, eat, and all those things people only get to do on Sundays, I still feel the urgency to book a ticket to some place outside the cit. Yes, like getting on some kind of vacation where I can spend days just with my back laid on the green grass or white sandy beach--whichever, really. That would be vacation not just for me but for my hardworking little laptop too. He's been such a good friend.

I mean, the glimmering city lights at night is definitely beautiful. but to go out during the day and actually enjoy the sun instead of staying home all day avoiding it... I want that too.
