Do you cover your ears upon the delivery of certain important news you (might) have been waiting and fidgeting non-stop for? College or job apps? When that one important decision you've been counting on has finally been decided and is about to be revealed, and you feel as though that last thread that holds your world together was either to be cut loose or be knotted tighter?
Well, I don't.
But I put my phone on silent mode when expecting messages of such nature which, I figure, is basically the same thing. Not sure what there is to that. It barely delays, as I will just as abruptly jump to it when I feel it vibrate. Neither does it change my response towards the news after having it properly processed.
Not sure what there is to that. The way we do the most useless things, it's just.... funny.
