There are reasons why people do things. Why people like a certain kind of music, why people walk or run or drag their feet. And so, there are reasons why some choose to follow certain dietary programs. Not all of them are weight loss needs, though all would wish and pray night and day for that to come along. Some just wish to rediscover that self-discipline and confidence they have long lost. That tiny part in them that used to induce a certain kind of spirit and enthusiasm towards dreams, towards life. That tiny part that used to get them on the move.
The discipline to overcome three days without anything but fruits and the confidence bestowed upon one's self that they can get through it. And maybe, just maybe, at the end of the day the future will be bright again. I mean, if I can go through a few days without all that sinful delicacies, I sure can do anything.
(I seriously have no problem with my current weight. Trust me already.)
