Ha. It's the last day of the year all over again. Yes, i decided to carry on and make it a year-end routine, this Lost and Found list. For the sake of year-ends and the natural need of self-reflection upon it.
So here goes the list of things i may have pleasurably or perhaps doltishly lost. Followed by all the sweetest self discoveries.
Lost: The usual noisy mess of a room (as its 3 other occupants left for the Philippines)
Found: A new unshakable kingdom in the room, in which i am both the king and queen, having all the right to do just anything i want. Muahaha
Note: I would sometimes miss the noise, but having my own room has been one of my greatest childhood dreams still alive today.
Lost: Yet another cellphone. That makes it 5. Bam!
Found: Nothing in my skull. tok... tok... tok... No kidding, it's empty!
Lost: Interest in cellphones. Like, completely.
Found: The impossibility of living without one. This, after all, is the Blackberry Generation.
Lost: Sanity, almost.
Found: Inspiration. Midnight, its happy hour. I shall call it the inspirational midnight rendezvous.
Lost: Interest in jerks. Though my share of history i will willingly take.
Found: Peace at last? Let's just say i'm close.
Lost: The blissful uni days...
Found: Work? Blah. Nothing equally blissful. Yet.
Lost: Drama....
Found: Drama.....
Note: such a classic!
Lost: $$$
Found: Addiction to airplanes and airports and Bali's good goooood life. Just traveling in general.
Lost: A best friend.
Found: Yet another sweet, sweet cliche.
Lost: Weight.
Found: No way to cover up this silly lie.
Alright, i'm done with 2009. It's good to know i had such a hard time recalling anything lost through out the year. I sure found more than i lost. And so i guess 2009 has been good to me.
Happy New Year, everyone!
